Golf Day - 2008 The Annual Golf Day for 2008 has been confirmed for Wednesday 9th July 2008, again at Sutton Green Golf Club. First tee at 1:00pm Tuesday 4th December 2007 Change of speaker for Christmas Lunch For the second time Francis Maude MP has cancelled at the last minute. Fortunately we been able to get comedian and after dinner speaker, John Cassidy to step in at short notice. Thursday 29th November 2007Dining Club at the Guildford Festival - 2008 Following the success of the first function at Guildford it is hoped to have a marquee again at the Guildford Festival for members of the Dining Club. It would be on Thursday 17th July, the 2nd day of the match versus Durham. Thursday 8th March 2007 Speakers Confirmed Speakers confirmed for the coming season include from Surrey CCC, Vic Dodds, President and Paul Blanchard, Sales & Marketing Director. Howard Smith, Chairman of the Shepherd Neame Kent Cricket League and Sir Christopher Gent, Chairman of GlaxoSmithKline plc. Friday 16th February 2007 Dining Club at the Guildford Festival It is hoped to have a marquee at the Guildford Festival for members of the Dining Club. It would be on Thursday 26th July, the 2nd day of the match versus Worcestershire. Although the price and
booking are still to be confirmed, places will be limited. |
